Poker pro and author wins biggest weekly tournament on FullTilt and walks away with over $132,000

Professional poker player Matthew Hilger won the $750,000 Guaranteed event last Sunday at FullTiltPoker.com and took home over $132,000.
The author and publisher stated that he now has his eyes set on the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas after cashing in three of the last four main events and nine times overall. The WSOP has exploded in popularity over the last few years, thanks in large part to the support of online poker sites where many players win online satellites to the main event.
“I've actually done very well in this particular tournament,” said Hilger.
“In nine or ten tries this year, I have three top 100s, two final tables and now the big win.”
The win caps off a great month for Hilger as his third child and first daughter, Isabel Teresa, was born on April 2 and he is also looking forward to the upcoming release of several new poker books and growing the websites from his company, Dimat Online.
“I definitely feel more ready than I ever have as I have played a lot more online than in past year so I won't be rusty going into the WSOP,” said Hilger.
“I must also say that working with Eric ‘Rizen’ Lynch, Jon ‘Pearljammer’ Turner and Jon ‘Apestyles’ Van Fleet on the poker hands book has been helpful in simply being able to talk with these guys on a regular basis as well as learning a few tricks here and there by reviewing their manuscript.”
