PartyPoker Lower Vig on High-Stakes STT Fees

In a move that will be welcomed by players and noticed by its competitors, PartyPoker have made all fees on STTs over $200 a standard $10

The heads of both players and other online poker rooms turned PartyPoker’s way this week after an announcement that they will be slashing the fees for all STTs (Single Table Tournaments, or ‘sit and gos’ to the rest of us) with buy-ins over $200.

All tournaments above the $200 threshold will now be subject to the same flat fee of $10 per player. As well as announcing the new fee structure, PartyPoker is also introducing a range of buy-ins extending upto $5,000.

A spokesman for the online cardroom said, 'This is great news for any big game hunter looking to make the most of their bankroll.'

The new line-up for STTs on PartyPoker are as follows:

Buy-in Fee Seats (Typical Savings in brackets)

$5,000 + $10 – Six Handed table ($190)

$5,000 + $10 – Heads-up ($90)

$2,000 + $10 – Ten Handed table ($80)

$2,000 + $10 – Six Handed table ($80)

$2,000 + $10 – Heads-up ($40)

$1,000 + $10 – Ten Handed table ($40)

$1,000 + $10 – Six Handed table ($20)

$1,000 + $10 – Heads-up ($20)

$500 + $10 – Ten Handed table ($20)

$500 + $10 – Six Handed table ($20)

$500 + $10 – Heads-up ($10)

$300 + $10 – Ten Handed table ($10)

$300 + $10 – Six Handed table ($10)

$300 + $10 – Heads-up ($10)

$200 + $10 – Ten Handed table ($6)

$200 + $10 – Six Handed table ($6)
