Cliff Josephy, otherwise known as JohnnyBax, has become the latest big name to join UltimateBet's team in advance of the World Series of Poker (WSOP).
The online player turned pro will be joining [joins] a host of other big names at the website, including Gary DeBernardi, Scott Ian and Mark Kroon.
JohnnyBax is known as a formidable opponent in online tournaments and has transferred these skills to live games where he his made over $1.3 million (£650,000) in winnings.
Josephy no doubt impressed his new sponsor when he took nearly $500,000 in the UltimateBet Aruba Poker Classic, the largest single win in his career so far.
He is also the owner of a coveted WSOP bracelet and will no doubt be looking to add to this as part of the UltimateBet side.
UltimateBet has recently introduced the RAI$E loyalty scheme, which could see subscribers earning an extra $1,000 a month by converting their UltimatePoints into cash.
