Two New Shows Hit The Air on Sky Poker

Ever wonder if your online editor was any good at micro-stakes cash? Find out in the new ‘Stacked Up’ show on Sky Poker

Wednesday 28th May 2008

It’s certainly an exciting time for the people behind Sky Poker. One of the fastest growing poker rooms, Sky Poker provides the opportunity for players to play in 'Televised' poker tournaments, either online or via the 'Red Button' on Sky TV. Innovative stuff, yes. They’ve not rested on their laurels though with news of two new shows hitting the airwaves.

The weekly show Stacked Up focuses on the art of cash game play. Three players team up and take to the online cash games. There’s some betting, bluffing, calling and crying as players try to spin their initial bankroll up as high as possible, with the winning team the one that sees their bankroll increase by the largest percentage. Presented by British poker guru Tony ‘Tikay’ Kendall and Norman Pace, the show also features Bluff Europe’s very own online editor taking fifty quid and doing some rather interesting stuff with the likes of 7-6 offsuit and four high. It was suited though.

The second new show, Sky Poker Unlimited, will be a tour of the virtual tables at Sky Poker. All of the major Sky Poker tournaments are covered in depth by the team of poker analysts, as well as forays in to the cash games, satellites and sit and goes on the site. Both shows are broadcast on Channel 846, or on skypoker.com.
