Online Bingo Proves Popular In 2008 But Fails To Profit
First-quarter profits for big Bingo name but admit a net loss

Major online bingo room Bingo.com have announced a rise in profits in the first quarterly review of 2008.
According to un-audited results, Bingo.com has shown an increase in profits over the first three months of 2008. Player revenues and expenses, however, mean the company went into the red in that same time period.
“It was another strong quarter of growth for Bingo.com,” said CEO Tarnie Williams. “We’ve increased revenue, decreased costs and entrenched ourselves as a premier operator in the UK.”
Bingo.com claim over 1.8m users which drain their profits, and Williams claims their popularity is growing rapidly.
“Our strategy remains focused on the strength of the Bingo.com URL in the UK market as we look to move into international markets,” Williams said.
