Television network NBC has signed a four-year deal with Las Vegas giants, Caesars Palace.
The deal will make Caesar's Palace poker room the venue for the annual National Heads-Up Poker Championship until 2012.
The championship has already been running for four years at the casino.
Poker legends Paul Wasicka, Ted Forrest and Phil Hellmuth have won previous competitions, while Chris Ferguson is reigning champion from 2008.
Jon Miller, the executive vice president of NBC sports, stated that they were pleased with their precious collaborations with Caesars Palace, which drew in high profile poker pros, strong viewing figures and an impressive attendance on site.
Mr Miller commented: "Were looking forward to more of the same over the next four years.
Plans are in place to expand the casino in a $1 billion development which will see an extra 37,000 sq ft of gaming space and a new 29-storey hotel tower added to the existing complex.
