PokerSpace Set To Take The Social Networking Sector By Storm
Tuesday 3rd June 2008
As mentioned on a number of occasions of late, it seems as though the social networking phenomenon is only just starting to filter through to the Poker industry. However, PokerSpace (a play on the MySpace brand) looks set to move the Poker social networking sector to another level.
The service has just been launched by Suited Media and seems to have hit the ground running with new members signing up on a daily basis. The beauty of this particular network seems to be the fact that it integrates social networking, Poker promotions, Poker advice from the experts and a number of new and exciting competitions.
The site has also set aside $60,000 a month to sponsor members who pass a number of tests and competitions on the site. While not the first, and sure not to be the last, Poker social networking site, PokerSpace seems to bring something a little different to the party, a mix which is attracting the crowds.
As well as great benefits for Poker players around the world there are also massive advertising and partnership opportunities for Suited Media who seem to have placed themselves in a very interesting and potentially lucrative position in the Poker market.
