Dublin and Toronto-based collaborative fraud management firm Ethoca has announced that online casino GamingVC.com has become the latest member of its global anti-fraud community.
Ethoca stated that it would support Curacao-based GamingVC.com’s expansion into new geographic markets without increasing its fraud-related operational expenses.
'We are pleased to welcome GamingVC.com to our collaborative fraud management community,' said Andre Edelbrock, President and Chief Executive Officer for Ethoca.
“As GamingVC.com continues to attract new online casino club members and diversify into new markets, its ability to contribute and connect to a pool of shared knowledge about payment experiences will help them grow more profitably and with lower risk. The global gaming industry is increasingly turning to Ethoca to improve its ability to 'know their customers' and keep fraud costs under control. That's why we're turning competitors into collaborators.'
GamingVC.com is the most recent site to join Ethoca’s community of online businesses collaborating to defeat fraud, which also includes Ladbrokes, William Hill, 32Red, Bwin, 888, Stan James and BoyleSports.
'GamingVC.com has successfully laid the foundation to continue increasing the group's overall profitability while diversifying our interests outside of Germany,” said Kenneth Alexander, Chief Executive Office for GamingVC.com.
“As part of that foundation, we have selected Ethoca’s anti-fraud community as a way to reduce the operational expenses associated with detecting online fraud. Ethoca helps us make more informed decisions, especially with customers we have no prior direct experience with. Ethoca's clear leadership and gathering momentum in collaborative fraud management made it the obvious choice to help manage our risk as we expand outside our home markets.'
