US singer Jessica Simpson has revealed that she has had success on Las Vegas's blackjack tables.
In a recent interview the star told Extra, a US TV show, that she had netted an impressive $7,000 (£3,500) at an unspecified Las Vegas Casino, reports Bang Showbiz.
Simpson stated: "I won $7,000 playing Blackjack! I was handing out hundreds, left and right."
While the location of her big win is unknown, it is possible it was at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino where the actress and her boyfriend Tony Romo recently attended a retirement party for Dallas Cowboys star Marco Rivera.
The 27-year-old clearly feels at ease among the bright lights of Nevada's gaming capital as she has recently purchased a holiday home in the city, describing it as a "home away from home".
Another celebrity proven to be a canny gambler is actor Woody Harrelson who took joint first in a charity poker event in Cannes last month raising money for his chosen cause, environmental group Oasis.
