News that Casino Drive has a possible stone bruise has not been taken well in the betting markets and there is real concern amongst gamblers.
While Big Brown is the favourite for the big race and set to land the Triple Crown if successful, Casino Drive is seen by many as the only real horse able to compete with Big Brown. Even though Casino Drive was pulled out of training after the condition was spotted, purely as a precaution, there is a debate as to whether the horse will now be at its best for the big race.
If anything this latest setback for Casino Drive highlights the fact that these thoroughbred horses need to be in perfect shape in order to give their best at the races.
