Mike ‘The Mouth’ Matusow wins his third WSOP bracelet as the festival continues

Many followers of professional poker often lament the apparent lack of well-renowned players at the WSOP final table – they are of course talking about the $10,000 Main Event, but in each of the several dozen other events the top players are still showing the amateurs who’s boss.
Mike ‘The Mouth’ Matusow won his third World Series of Poker bracelet in the $5,000 No Limit 2-7 Lowball w/Rebuys after beating a field of 84 other hopefuls. The prize pool swelled to $1.7m after 272 rebuys and add-ons, of which Matusow won a nice chunk; taking home $537,862.
Other noted professionals have been storming the WSOP also – Full Tilt Pro and eight-time WSOP bracelet winner Erik Seidel recently made the final table of the World Championship $10,000 Seven-Card Stud event and Daniel Negreanu is riding high at the final table of the $2,000 Limit Hold ‘em tournament at the time of going to press.
Negreanu is offering his fans odds that he will win a WSOP bracelet this year on his personal website.
