Professional players continue to storm the tournament with two more wins

It is almost looking as though a pro could win the Main Event again – Barry Greenstein and Kenny Tran both picked up bracelets last night in Vegas, adding to the long list of professional players who have won silverware in this year’s World Series of Poker.
Barry Greenstein, a renowned player known as ‘The Robin Hood of Poker’ due to his charity donations, won the $1,500 Seven-Card Razz event, starting the final table second in chips and taking the chip lead as play went four-handed, not relinquishing that lead since. He won $157,619 for his efforts which he will add to tournament winnings in excess of $6,000,000.
Kenny Tran improved his already-impressive list of World Series of Poker final tables and added a bracelet to his accolades by taking down the $10,000 Heads-Up No Limit Hold ‘em Championship for his biggest cash to date, over $500k.
The year of the pro looks set to continue in the $5,000 Pot Limit Omaha w/Rebuys – Phil Hellmuth, Johnny Chan, Daniel Negreanu, John Juanda and Chris ‘Jesus’ Ferguson are all in the money and looking for a spot at the final table and a chance at the bracelet.
