Blair Hinkle made history this week when he won the $2,000 (£1,000) no-limit hold'em event at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) just 11 days after his brother Grant collected the bracelet for the $1,500 no-limit hold'em contest.
The siblings from Kansas became the first brothers to win events in the WSOP in the same year.
Blair beat 1,344 other players to claim $507,563 and a bracelet to match his brother's.
The 22-year-old beat seven other professional poker players at the final table, including Dustin Dirksen, Andrew Jeffreys and Chris Bjorn, as well as amateur Mark Brockington.
Hinkle commented: "I just can't even imagine. It's like being in a movie and watching a movie at the same time. And the endings are so spectacular; you think 'wow, can you really get away with writing that ending?' But they did."
He placed 520th at the 2007 WSOP main event and went on to finish sixth at the Caesars Las Vegas WSOP Circuit just a few months ago.
