A celebrity poker tournament will be held next month to raise money to help relieve the humanitarian crisis in Darfur.
It was originally created by Oscar-nominated actor Don Cheadle and will be held at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas.
This year's event will be the second annual Ante Up for Africa, the previous one raising over $700,000 (£350,000).
It is thought that Cheadle, Matt Damon, Charles Barkley, Kevin Pollack and Cheryl Hines will attend the 2008 tournament.
In addition to these stars, poker professionals such as Phil Ivey, Daniel Negreanu, Chris Ferguson and Doyle Brunson are expected to attend, subject to availability.
Jeffrey Pollack, commissioner for the World Series of Poker, commented: "The poker community has a unique opportunity to help ease the suffering in Darfur."
Elsewhere, Ivey will host The Budding Ivey Foundation Charity Poker Tournament at the Golden Nugget, Las Vegas at the start of next month.
