A gambler is celebrating after a single spin of an online slot machine earned her a $10,620 (£5,400) prize.
The player, identified only by her username Ellen J, was playing the Avalon video slots game at the All Jackpots Casino when she struck lucky.
Afterwards she explained that she has a long history of low-stakes gambling at casinos and had recently started playing online games, but without holding out much hope of winning.
The winner added: "I think the slots have always been as much entertainment as pursuit of financial rewards."
David Brickman of All Jackpots' parent company The Jackpot Factory said the win was evidence that gamblers can enjoy a "pure casino experience" and have the chance to win serious money online.
The Jackpot Factory recently launched a lotto promotion, which gives customers the chance to win a portion of $75,000 worth of free credits to use at its online casinos.
