Sales of tables from America’s PokerTek going well thanks to Aristocrat Technologies.

Aristocrat Technologies has announced a series of agreements with casino operators in Bulgaria for the purchase of a number of PokerPro electronic poker tables manufactured by North Carolina’s PokerTek Limited.

The Australian distributor stated that the contracts cover 23 tables already installed along with several more planned for the coming months.

“Put simply, our success in Bulgaria so far this year has resulted from close work with the major operators,” said Tim Klok, European Manager of Multi-Station Gaming for Aristocrat.

“Following product approval, the initial tables installed generated incremental income in the venues and the poker market in Bulgaria is no different to that in the rest of the world, extremely buoyant. We hope to emulate our success in Bulgaria in the second half of the year right across Europe.”

Aristocrat revealed that Bulgarian operators Gameprom Limited and Balkanfon would be installing PokerPro tables along with Bulgame, a subsidiary of Casino Solutions Limited.

“Our staff and customers are charmed by PokerPro,” said Vasil Nikolov, General Manager for Bulgame.

“More and more customers are using PokerPro and Caesars is one of the first casinos in Bulgaria that provides their customers with this wonderful game on the best electronic poker table in the world.”

Another operator rolling out PokerPro is Bar Game Limited, one of the largest operators in Bulgaria with over 40 clubs spread between its Eldorado and Palms chains.

“Bar Game installed PokerPro at the Eldorado Casino Club and in the newly opened casino Palms-Pavlovo in Sofia,” said Elena Shaterova, Marketing and Purchasing Manager at Bar Game.

“Soon, PokerPro tables will also be installed in Stara Zagora, Pleven, Rousse, Bourgas and Varna because Bar Game is sure that this product will enrich the game mix in the casinos and bring a fresh, new experience to players.”
