Online casino BodogLife.com has announced that one lucky player of its Victory video slot machine won $200,000 this week after hitting four ‘captains’ along with a ‘ship’ in succession.
Victory is a naval-themed slot that was launched by RealTime Gaming in January and Houston native ‘Howard G’ discovered that, with the ‘ship’ symbol acting as a wild, he had hit the equivalent of five ‘captain’ symbols for a win worth $50,000.
However, because the 55-year-old Texan hit the big line while playing one of the game’s 50 re-triggering free spins, each ship was turned into a four times multiplier and quadrupled his winnings to $200,000.
“It just happened pretty fast,” said ‘Howard G’.
“I barely reacted. I just saw all those dollars start to pile up there really fast.”
The online gambler revealed that he would use the money to pay the legal fees associated with going after a builder who did a mediocre job constructing his home.
“The builder made some mistakes when he built my house about seven years ago so I’m having some major repairs,” said the lucky player.
“I have to hire a lawyer to sue the builder. Fortunately, I’ve been able to rent the house next door to me while the repairs get done. But it’s going to cost about $300,000 to get it all fixed. It is a good time since we’re fixing to move back into the house and we’ll probably have to wait about a year to collect any money from the builder.”
