A gambler from Las Vegas is celebrating after winning $50,000 ($25,300) on a slot machine.
The woman, identified only as Veronica, pocketed the cash after hitting the jackpot on a Zorro game at Arizona Charlie's Decatur Casino and Hotel.
In doing so, she became the sixth winner of the big payout on the Zorro game at Arizona Charlie's this year.
There have also been two winners of the maximum $50,000 jackpot on the Zorro slot machine in Albuquerque this month - one at Route 66 Casino Hotel and the other at Sandia Resort & Casino.
Tim Parrott, president of Zorro's manufacturer Aristocrat, said he was delighted that gamblers were enjoying success on his company's machines.
"Players are winning with Aristocrat games all over the US. More importantly, this shows the continued strength of the Aristocrat games and their entertainment values to the end users," said Mr Parrott.
Although the winners of the $50,000 prizes were no doubt delighted, they are far from the biggest jackpots won on US slot machines this year, as the Wheel of Fortune networked game has paid out several seven-figure sums to gamblers.
