Sportech Signs Marketing Deal With 888

Gibraltar-based firm also to replace CryptoLogic as software provider for online casino and poker games from September.

Liverpool-based Sportech has announced a distribution and marketing agreement with online gaming provider 888 Holdings for the promotion of its Football Pools business.

Sportech revealed that the new deal will see its Football Pools unit, which consists of the historic Littlewoods, Vernons and Zetters brands, promoted to the almost five million players registered on 888’s gaming database. Later this year, players at 888.com will be able to utilise a ‘click through’ function in order to connect to the Football Pools website to register and play.

In addition, Gibraltar-based 888 will provide Sportech with a turnkey online gaming operation and the technology platform required to power all aspects of its principal virtual gaming operation including LittlewoodsCasino.com and LittlewoodsPoker.com along with soft games.

888 revealed that the deal will also see it actively assist Sportech in marketing its complete range of products to both companies' existing and new customers in the UK and overseas in addition to replacing CryptoLogic as Sportech’s software provider for casino and poker games from September.
