Bluff Europe magazine, Europe’s leading poker publication, has
announced that it will be shining a ray of sunlight on the poker
community with the launch of an afternoon of outdoor poker in
London in association with the World Poker Tour (WPT).
‘Poker in the Park’ will take place on Friday July 6th at
Leicester Square Park from 12:00pm to 4:00pm. Avid poker fans will
be able to try their hand at a variety of ‘Learn to Play’ and
‘Play-for-Fun’ tournaments and have the chance to grab a WPT Poker
Tour gift packages on offer to the first 1,000 visitors to attend
the event.
“People are really beginning to see that poker is a game of
skill and intellect and that tournament poker is about mental
fortitude – it really is about the sport of poker. The event is
also a celebration of the London poker boom which punctuates London
as one of the most exciting places to be right now,” Michael
Caselli, Editor-in-chief of Bluff Europe.
The free event, which marks the magazine’s naming of London as
Europe’s No.1 poker destination, is open to players aged 18 and
over.
