'Devilympics' Announced on DevilfishPoker.com

Coinciding with all the athletic endeavour in Beijing, DevilfishPoker have announced they are hosting their first ever ‘Devilympics’.

With a new promotion at DevilfishPoker.com poker players will be able to battle it out for gold over the felt. The Devilympics will see five events take place every day for fifteen days with €20,000 added to the prize pool. Winning players will be awarded €5,000 for gold, €3,000 for silver and €2,000 for bronze as they pick up points on the Devilympic leaderboard. Those points are awarded as follows: Gold (first place): 10 points Silver (second place): 6 points Bronze (third place): 4 points Fourth-ninth place: 1 point each Of course, as with any good Olympics, there has to be an opening ceremony, so the site will be kicking off proceedings with the €1,000 Opening Ceremony Freeroll on 8th August. Not only will players have a chance to win their chunk of the prize money, but there will also be a €250 bounty on Dave 'Devilfish' Ulliott's head. After that, the leaderboard begins in earnest, with €100 added to the prize pool of each tournament. There will also be a closing ceremony; another €1,000 freeroll in the same format as the opener, with Ulliott in attendance once again.
