Philip 'USCphildo' Collins and Shaun Deeb put themselves in contention for Card Player's online player of the year (OPOY) award on Sunday.
Collins, a perennial top ten competitor, moved into second when he finished runner-up in PokerStars $250,000 guaranteed competition, earning 900 points.
Meanwhile, Deeb put himself into fourth position after taking 1,080 points for winning Full Tilt Poker's FTOPS IX event nine.
Brian 'SNo0oWMAN' Hawkins is still the leader and is 300 points clear of Collins with a total of 5,642.
Alex 'AJKHoosier1' Kamberis is now third on 5,136 - a 376-point advantage over Deeb.
Long-time frontrunner Halfrek has moved down to fifth position, a further 44 points back, while reigning champion Isaac 'westmenloAA' Baron is in danger of slipping out of the top 20 in 17th.
Deeb is also in the mix to win Bluff Magazine's OPOY contest and is ranked in fifth place.
Moorman1 leads, followed by PearlJammer, Joe 'ender555' Ebanks and PURPLEPILS99.
