Next month London will see an event which will test the skill, metal strength and stamina of all involved with the launch of the PartyPoker.com Poker Den – the Big Game!
As the name suggests this is no normal poker game and will in fact run for 36 hours with no breaks. Television crews will be there to film the event for a Channel 5 show to be broadcast later in the year. Those down on the list to attend include Phil Hellmuth, Dave Ulliott, Jamie Gold, Robert Williamson III, Roland De Wolfe and Mike ‘The Mouth’ Matusow.
The event will see players given the option of sitting down with either $10,000 or $20,000 with blind levels of $25-$50. The Poker Den event only began in 2005 and has literally climbed to the top league of UK poker in a very short space of time. However, it will be no surprise to see that the game is from the highly successful Matchroom Sport stable which has access to the biggest names in sport.
There are high hopes that once the event has been shown on Channel 5 it will then be put out to the rest of the world with much interest anticipated.
