Those who have been following the commercial life of Playtech will know that the online poker specialist has delivered a number of contracts over the last few months and it seems as though there are more in the pipeline. The tie-up with Italian outfit Sindacato Nazionale Agenzie Ippiche (SNAI Group) has taken the company into a whole new market place, one which they are looking to stamp their mark on.
The SNAI Group is already a massive player in the horse racing and sports betting market and the cross marketing opportunities have not been missed between the casino sector. The first two games to hit the site will be Texas Hold ‘Em and Omaha which are sure to prove very popular from the outset. It was also announced that other games will be drip fed onto the site enabling the SNAI Group to expand its appeal into the future.
This latest move by Playtech is on the back of moves into Sweden and Austria with speculation that other markets will be added to the portfolio in due course.
On a separate note SNAI Group has also signed up with UK based GameAccount to offer a selection of more traditional card and dice games to customers.
