Doyle Brunson has revealed that he will take part in a $150,000 minimum buy-in cash game in Macau later this year.
The poker hall-of-famer wrote in his blog that he expects the high-stakes match to be "interesting", referring to how a number of the Chinese administrative region's high-rollers tend to buy in for up to $1 million.
Brunson will be accompanied by his son Todd to the game, which takes place at about the same time as the Asian Poker Tour Macau event, which both will be attending.
Macau has grown to be the richest casino resort in the world over the last three years and looks set to generate more revenue in 2008 than the entire state of Nevada.
It is renowned for its high-roller action, although the majority of the region's gamblers generally prefer to play baccarat, which accounts for approximately 70 per cent of all casino earnings.
