Brunson's Super System 'remains popular 29 years on'

After close to three decades on bookstore shelves, Doyle Brunson's classic strategy tome Super System: A Course in Power Poker is still one of Cardoza Publishing's biggest sellers.
A spokesman for the firm Michael Stern made the revelations at the Poker in the Park event in London's Leicester Square over the weekend, where his company had a stand set up to help promote Daniel Negreanu's latest work Power Hold'em Strategy.
"Our most popular book historically is Super System, given the age of the title and the frequency of the sales," the representative commented.
The 2004 follow-up, Doyle Brunson's Super System II, also did will for Cardoza, Mr Stern suggested, as he claimed "anything that Doyle writes, people want to read".
With ten World Series of Poker bracelets - including back-to-back main event victories - and a World Poker Tour title, Brunson is one of the most decorated competitors in the history of poker playing.
