Crown Casinos has announced that its revenue growth this year has been "satisfactory" with recent figures demonstrating an increase in income.
Overall, the company recorded a four per cent rise when compared with last years figures, reports the Australia News.
The casino operator's Crown Casino in Melbourne saw a rise of 6.4 per cent while its venue in Perth was up by 12.6 per cent.
Rowen Craigie, the chief executive of the firm, stated that these recent numbers showed that the two casinos had "further cemented" their dominant status in the Australian gaming industry.
The firm commented: "Recent trading for the Australian casino businesses has been satisfactory, with total revenue (excluding VIP commission-based play) to August 14th up four per cent on last year."
Crowns Melbourne gaming facility holds the annual Australian Poker Championship - known as the Aussie Millions - which offers winners a share in a AU$7 million (£3.27 million) prize pool.
