Do You Follow The Money Or Follow The Horse Racing Tipsters?

Horse racing in the UK and across the world is massive with literally hundreds of millions of pounds generated on and off the track. But who do you follow? Do you follow the tipsters or do you follow the money?

Tipsters have always been held in high regard by horse racing fans with each punter having their own favourite and following them like a religion. But is it now time to chase the money or stick with the tipsters who often have the inside track and turn out to be very well informed?

The onset of betting exchanges has presented a new door for those brave enough to knock - the in play betting arena!

Simply by logging onto sites such as Betfair it is now possible to monitor where all of the hot money is going before the off and see if you can grab a bargain. Ask a tipster for a winner of any one race and you will get a whole host of replies, but check out where the money is going and your will get substantially less to choose from. So when do you follow the money?

The last few minutes before the off is the best time to check where the hot money is going and see if you can spot some ‘informed’ betting. It does not always work but you will be surprised how many of the hot money horses come home!
