The Irish betting company aims to continue its ‘successful strategies’

Paddy Power has been reported to record pre-tax profits of over 20 million Euros, year ending December 2003, showing a healthy 15pc increase on the 01-02 financial year. The group’s turnover was up to 913 million Euros which translates to a 36pc rise from the previous year.
'As the group enters 2004, operating plans are clearly established across all divisions and will see a continuation of the successful strategies adopted in 2003,' it said as it reported full year 2003 results this morning.
Paddy Power is certainly not resting on its laurels though. Both its online and telephone betting businesses are expected to continue to grow, especially with the recent addition of its online casino.
