Matt Brady will be a name with which many in the poker world are familiar having built up a reputation as a solid if not startling poker player over the years. The hooded poker expert has just bagged himself a $1 million jackpot after taking the top spot at the Aruba Poker Classic. This was an event which attracted nearly 600 players and provided some excellent hands on the way to the final table.
Even though Matt Brady entered the final table top of the chip stack there was still much work to be done before he could get his hands on his biggest jackpot win to date. However, he made great use of his superior chip stack to eliminate a couple of players in the early stages of the final table and set himself up for a face off against Johan Storakers.
While the face off was a tense affair, Matt Brady always had the edge and finally he made it tell to bring the curtain down on the 2008 event. He now heads back home to Pennsylvania with a sizeable cheque to add to his mountain of five figure wins in the past.
