Lasseters casino announces a closure after nine years of service.

Australian online gambling site Lasseters recently revealed that they will be ceasing all operations on the online casino section of their site. Whilst players can still withdraw funds, the last bets have been long-placed at Lasseters.
A company statement said: 'Lasseters Online Casino will cease operation effective immediately.' and that the closure was a result of the casino's 'inability to compete and retain our market share'.
A statement from Lasseters concluded: 'From all of us here at Lasseters Online this is a very sad day. We hope you have enjoyed the Lasseters Online site as much as we have enjoyed delivering our games and services to you, and would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude for your loyalty over the past nine years.'
