There are a number of Hungarian card players making an impact on the European poker stage, according to the European Poker Tour (EPT) website.
Richard Toth, Valdemar Kwaysser and Denes Kalo are three of the men from the eastern European country to have made names for themselves in recent times, the portal explained.
The trio were highlighted as the EPT previewed the inaugural Hungarian Open, which gets underway later this month.
Reflecting on the forthcoming event, the site claimed that the competition will be played in the "amazing city" of Budapest - Hungary's capital.
"The EPT Hungarian Open ... is likely to prove a huge draw for international players, as well as the growing number of Hungarian poker enthusiasts," it added.
Barcelona and London have hosted EPT events in the last few week, while the tour heads to Poland's capital city Warsaw next month.
