A gambler has completed a remarkable hat-trick of big wins in the Canadian province of Ontario.
William Hill shared a C$100,000 (£50,000) lottery prize with a workmate and then less than a year later collected a C$20,000 jackpot at the Rideau-Carlton slots parlour.
The truck driver was still not satisfied and two weeks after the second win, headed to the Casino Thousand Islands in Gananoque.
Once there he struck lucky again, this time collecting a C$270,995 prize on a networked progressive jackpot slots game.
Mr Hill is clearly not the type of punter to get excited about success and he claimed the casino staff seemed more pleased than he was about his latest win.
"Some people say I have incredible luck," he added, perhaps understating the run of good fortune he has benefited from in recent months.
Ontario has been a lucky location for gamblers this year and Mr Hill's latest win came just a week after Susan Gillette won $293,062 at the Hiawatha Horse Park slots.
