Punters in the North Yorkshire town of Scarborough now have access to a one-stop shop for all their gambling requirements.
The Opera House has become the first casino in the UK to open an on-site bookmaker.
Gamblers can now stake money on sports events in the betting shop before heading into the casino to watch the outcome of games and races in relative luxury.
A ceremony to mark the opening of Opera House Bet was staged last weekend, with Dave Ulliott - a World Series of Poker bracelet holder and star of numerous televised poker tournaments - cutting the ribbon.
Devilfish told the Scarborough Evening News: "It's an honour to be opening the betting shop and I hope it's a success. It's a lovely place and nice and homely."
As well as the betting shop, the Opera House also houses three different types of poker table - stud, Texas hold'em and three card - together with blackjack, roulette and slot machines.
