Swedish online casino provider Redbet Holding AB, which runs such brands as GoldClubCasino.com, TotalPoker.com and OptiBet.com, has announced that it is planning to move some of its gaming operations to Malta.
The Stockholm-based firm revealed that it would be relocating its casino, poker and sportsbook brands to the Mediterranean island nation before the end of the year after receiving the necessary license approvals.
Jonas Sundvall, Chief Executive Officer for Redbet, revealed that the firm’s Maltese subsidiary, Redbet Gaming Limited, would take over the running of certain brands although others would continue to operate under their current UK licenses. He stated that the move would allow the company to benefit from reduced rates of tax.
