A man from Carmel in central California is celebrating this week after scooping over $22,000 (£12,848) at his local gaming venue.
Known only as Joseph, the lucky player took home $22,100.69 when he hit the jackpot on a nickel slot machine at Table Mountain Casino in Friant on Friday afternoon.
The prize followed shortly after a gamer known as Lucky Elsie, from nearby Fresno, won over $35,000 on the slots at Table Mountain.
Both wins were part of the casino's Mega Mountain Jackpots scheme, which randomly allocates large jackpots to slots players, with no winning combination required.
Commenting on the jackpots, casino president John Mayewski said: "All of us here at Table Mountain Casino congratulate Lucky Elsie and Joseph for their winnings ... what a wonderful way to start the weekend."
Mr Mayewski also claimed that the new jackpot system is encouraging gamers from all over California to try their luck at Table Mountain.
As well as its slot machines, the venue also contains a nine-table poker room and 38 gaming tables.
