The World Poker Tour (WPT) has announced details of a new collaboration with social networking giant MySpace.
Online card players will soon be able to access the WPT MySpace community, a fully-integrated gaming and social portal aimed at "poker die-hards and casual fans alike".
As well as featuring behind-the-scenes video footage of WPT events and tips from top poker players, the website will offer a free multi-player game in which newcomers can hone their skills against more experienced card sharps.
MySpace's Angela Courtin said the service is designed to provide "an easy and fun way for users to play poker with friends".
Steve Lipscomb, founder and president of the WPT, added: "This partnership meets the demand for a poker experience that appeals to enthusiasts of all levels."
A live WPT event, the Festa Al Lago, is currently taking place at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. Antonio The Magician Esfandiari led after day one with a chip stack of 313,000.
