Over the next few years many experts are forecasting a massive increase in the number of players of both online poker and more tournaments than ever before, but have you got the nerve for the offline and online poker tournaments? Could you still play your game if thousands or even millions of dollars were at stake?
Even though the recession is still gripping most parts of the world it looks as though the online poker industry and the amount of prize money up for grabs at the large tournaments have not been hit too hard as yet. We also seem to be seeing the launch of new and exciting poker TV channels on a regular basis, but have you got what it takes for the big money tournaments?
As we will see when WSOP 2008 resumes very soon, the pressures on each and every player in the final showdown can be enormous. If you have no experience you are at a great disadvantage as the betting shows on WSOP. The need to be able to keep your mind when all around are losing theirs, play your own game while turning the screw on others and above all try to put the money situation of you heads is imperative. Many have tried but few have succeeded!
