Cometh the hour, cometh the man and in the case of Tottenham Hotspur that man is Harry Redknapp who has just joined them as manager after the surprise sacking of Juande Ramos. While results under Ramos were poor to say the least it did not help that the board recently sold his two top goal scorers and brought in a new face who is taking time to fit into the Premiership. That said Spurs seemed to be in real danger of going down under Ramos, hence the move......
So can Harry do it again?
A quick look at the odds on Spurs going down would show you that the fans and the bookies believe that he can drag them off the bottom of the table and a 2-0 win on Sunday has further strengthened that belief. He will bring to the club his own unique style, his own back room and will want to be the top man on the footballing side of things – and nothing less.
Whether Harry Redknapp can take Spurs into the top six in the Premiership remains to be seen but for now they would just be happy with guaranteeing Premiership survival for next season!
