A slots player from Las Vegas is celebrating this week after scooping over $1.2 (£733,000) million at her local casino.
The 71-year-old gamer, known as Beverley, decided to head to the Santa Fe Station casino after a newspaper horoscope informed her that "something good is going to happen" that morning.
After she staked just $9 on the venue's Millioni$er slot machine, the prediction was proved right when Beverley hit the jackpot for $1,236,985.35.
"Everyone here knows her and knows how she loves to play Millioni$er, and we are just thrilled to welcome her to our wall of winners at Santa Fe Station," said Mike Sullivan, director of slots at the casino.
In February this year, a gamer called William from California won over $1.7 million on a Millioni$er slot game while celebrating his 38th birthday at the Las Vegas Hilton.
He told casino staff at the time: "It hasn't sunk in. It's still very surreal."
