Super Sunday part two Manchester City v Manchester United
Sunday 30th November 2008
This Sunday sees one of the most passionate derby games in all of the UK when Manchester City play host to Manchester United at the City of Manchester Stadium. This is a derby match which has had thrills and spills each and every time it is played, sending offs, goals and controversy in equal measures. It will also be the first derby for Robinho and will see him pit his wits against the likes of Ronaldo, Rooney and Berbatov.
There will be a full house at the City of Manchester Stadium and Mark Hughes will be coming up against his former manager Alex Ferguson in a clash of two old friends. Hughes has not exactly endeared himself to the Manchester City faithful over the last few weeks with a number of indifferent displays by his team. However, if he were able to beat United then there is no doubt he would give himself substantial breathing space to turn things around.
However, if Alex Ferguson can get his team firing on all cylinders and blast city away this would put severe pressure on Mark Hughes position at the club. There is much to play for on both sides as we move into "Super Sunday".
