Erick Lindgren is one of the highest earning poker players the sport has ever seen with in excess of $7.3 million from live tournament to his name at the ripe old age of 32. Born in 1976 in Burney, California he is a professional American poker play-off having won his first tournament at the Bellagio back in 2002. He followed up this impressive win with his first World Poker Tour success just 10 months later and just six months after that won the WPT PartyPoker Million III cruise.
Away from the tables he is a successful author with a number of other business interests both connected and unconnected to poker. June 2006 saw Lindgren grabbed the $600,000 first prize in the FullTiltPoker.net Poker Pro Showdown event casting aside a number of well-known names. He is a member of the highly successful "Team Full Tilt" organisation which has opened many doors for him as well as building upon his reputation in the industry.
Erick Lindgren was victorious in the World Series of Poker 2008 event grabbing a bracelet and a $374,505 prize. Lindgren clearly has the respect of his peers and was voted the WSOP player of the year for 2008.
