Pamela Anderson is set to appear in Aussie millions poker championship

Former Baywatch star Pamela Anderson is reportedly in talks with the owners of the Aussie millions poker championship which will be held at the Crown Casino later this month. It is believed that she may be invited as a celebrity player into what is fast becoming one of the most popular poker tournaments in the world. It is also rumoured that former tennis star Mark Philippoussis is also desperate for a seat at the Aussie millions which is due to start on 18 January.
It would appear that a number of so-called celebrities are in the market for sponsors to buy into the event which looks like having a record attendance this time round. Poker has taken on a new lease of life in Australasia with Crown Casino leading the way in both the domestic Australian and Australasia markets. There are literally millions of dollars up for grabs in this year's tournament which we will be covering in detail as the event begins and progresses.
This year's winner is sure to receive some serious press coverage as a side from the World Series of Poker event the Aussie millions is fast becoming the event to be seen at.
