Irish online gaming provider Paddy Power has announced the launch of new no-download instant play software for its Internet poker room at PaddyPowerPoker.com.
PaddyPowerPoker.com is Ireland’s largest online poker room and has become the first site on the iPoker network to launch the no-download software, which allows players to compete anytime and anywhere without having to download software.
“We’re thrilled to extend our product offering to include a non-downloadable version of our software,” read a statement from Dublin-based Paddy Power.
“The fact that players can now use the instant play software anytime, anywhere gives them the flexibility to play at times that were previously unsuitable.
“It also means that players who don’t want to download the standard software client can try out the iPoker software on PaddyPowerPoker.com.
To celebrate the launch, PaddyPowerPoker.com is running its Lunchtime Series Of Poker (LSOP) until Tuesday made up of tournaments costing two dollars to enter with the top ten finishers in each event awarded an Irish Open satellite token worth $5.50. In addition, the top 20 players from each tournament will qualify for the LSOP Final freeroll on January 14 featuring a $200 prize pool and an Irish Open satellite token worth $22 for the top ten finishers.
“With our new instant play poker software you will be able to get to the tables faster than ever before,” read a statement from Paddy Power.
“Whatever your poker poison, be it cash/ring games, single table tourneys or multi-table tourneys, instant play poker has them all in all game types and formats.
“Currently only Texas hold'em games are available but we are working hard to bring our full suite of games to the instant play version of PaddyPowerPoker.com.”
