Tuesday 20th January 2009
Events specialists Lyceum Media has announced that next week’s Fire&Ice 2009 social event will feature industry search engine guru Bob Rains serving as a guest DJ alongside other popular London musicians
Now in its eighth year, Fire&Ice is a free event organised annually for industry executives by Lyceum around London’s International Gaming Expo (IGE) trade show, formerly known as the International Casino Exhibition (ICE). It will take place from eight o’clock in the evening at the stylish Gilgamesh Lounge in Camden Town and bring together online gambling executives, operators, affiliates, media and suppliers in an informal way.
Fire&Ice will also host THePETEBOX, winner of the prestigious Channel 4Talent Awards in December of 2007. He has toured extensively around Africa, Norway, France and the Czech Republic alongside appearances at a host of UK festivals including Isle of White, Bestival, Creamfields, V Festival and Glastonbury.
'THePETEBOX is absolutely amazing and, when I saw him at the Thames Mayor’s festival, I knew we had to get him at Fire&Ice,' said Michael Caselli from Lyceum Media.
'This year's event is entertainment packed and we paid special attention to our musical guests. We're taking the event up a notch for 2009 and unique talent is just one of the ways we are going to do it.”
Sponsors of this year’s Fire&Ice include AsianLogic, CryptoLogic, Boss Media, Bluff Europe and the Cake Poker Network with free tickets available at LyceumMedia.com/FireAndIce. Guests can also pick up a free invitation at IGE from a Lyceum representative or by visiting the stands of iGaming Business or CryptoLogic.
“Alongside DJ’s and musical acts, we’ve got an array of exotic performances throughout the night and a special surprise gift that will let guests take a little piece of Fire&Ice home with them,” said Jodie Thind, Events Producer for Lyceum.
