Leading mobile telephone gambling provider moves into the European market for the first time following a three-year deal with Betsson.

Leading mobile telephone gambling provider Mfuse Limited has announced its move into the Scandinavian market after signing a three-year deal with Swedish gaming firm Betsson AB.
Stockholm-based Betsson is one of the world’s largest gaming companies and Mfuse will now supply it with a sportsbetting product th at will enable it to launch one of the first mobile betting services in Scandinavia.
Mfuse stated that the new service would debut in the spring featuring both Java and mobile Internet formats. It is scheduled to be launched in a number of major European languages including Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish, Turkish, Polish, Spanish, French, Greek, Italian, German and English.
“This is a landmark deal for Mfuse as we continue to execute our strategy of expanding into the European gaming market,” said Charles palmer, Marketing Director for London-based Mfuse
“Betsson is a fast growing, dynamic company that knows how to make the mobile gambling channel a success. By working closely with the Betsson team, we will be able to deliver exciting m-gaming products to the Scandinavian markets.”
Betsson has over 120,000 active online customers and annual revenues in excess of $110 million. It has current growth of around 50 percent per year but has expanded by 1,200 percent si nce 2005.
Betsson revealed that the deal would see Mfuse provide it with the latest generation in sportsbetting technology alongside the newest developments in user interface design with a full suite of multi-bets and live in-play betting.
'Following a strategic review of the market, we choose Mfuse to provide our mobile service due to their extensive knowledge and experience in mobile gambling technology,” said Thomas Kalita, Chief Executive Officer for Betsson Malta Limited.
“In addition, Mfuse were chosen because they can provide both sportsbetting and casino games, meaning we can offer a consistent mobile experience to our customers.”
