Cambridge-based online security firm is set to show off its FS Anti-Fraud product at London’s Earls Court Exhibition Centre this week.

Cambridge-based online anti-fraud firm Featurespace Limited has announced that it is set to exhibit at this week’s International Gaming Expo (IGE) 2009 in London.
A leading international exhibition for the casino and gaming industries scheduled to take place over three days at Earls Court Exhibition Centre beginning tomorrow, IGE 2009 could see well over 25,000 visitors.
Featurespace spun out of Cambridge University’s engineering research laboratories in 2005 with its staff comprising software engineers, data modellers, statistical experts and business professionals. It stated that this potent mix allows it to provide unique analysis and detection techniques designed to combat fraud in all its guises for large and small companies.
The firm is a pioneer in dynamically modelling human behaviour and its technology provides a forensic analysis of behavioural data previously impossible in traditional rules-based anti-fraud systems. It has a proven track record in successfully detecting fraud and identifying other problem behaviours to offer a significant increase over other traditional anti-fraud techniques.
Featurespace will use IGE 2009 to exhibit its front line product, FS Anti-Fraud, which is relied upon by some of the world’s leading sporting exchanges to monitor both transactional and system use activities. The product can run through millions of transactions per day with ease and has been selected by Oracle and IBM.
Although the product utilises ubiquitous rules, black and white lists and machine learning, FS Anti-Fraud also employs Featurespace’s own unique behavioural analysis algorithms, which take anti-fraud tools to the next level.
“Featurespace are thus setting the new benchmark in anti-fraud technology that others will have to follow if they are to serve their clients as well as is possible,” read a statement from the firm.
“This is especially important when fraud is on the increase and cost savings are tantamount to company survival.”
