Specialist software development and Internet marketing firm to debut virtual sports content at today’s London trade show.

Kiron Interactive, a South African specialist software developer, has announced that it will be exhibiting its new suite of virtual sports products for the betting and casino industries at this week’s International Gaming Expo (IGE) 2009.
The annual trade show begins today at London’s Earls Court Exhibition Centre with Kiron offering its virtual sports content to bookmakers via broadcast or streaming. In addition, operators can receive content by rendering it directly within a betting shop environment.
The Johannesburg-based firm also offers its product through stand-alone gaming machines for deployment in betting shops and casinos as well as on a multi-station basis.
“Virtual racing has been our business since 2001,” said Steven Spartinos, Director for Kiron.
“We are thrilled to be launching our new betting products in time for the IGE exhibition with a number of international implementations being planned early in the current year. We look forward to showcasing the products at IGE to new clients.”
Kiron stated that the launch of its new product suite comes at a time when the UK industry is estimated to be worth £700 million with some bookmakers reporting that up to 40 percent of their profits are generated by virtual racing.
