One online player is celebrating this week after winning only the second progressive jackpot ever at three-dimensional virtual casino WinADay.com courtesy of its new Slot-O-Matic slot game.
Slot-O-Matic was launched in late-January and has since gone on to become the most popular title at WinADay.com, the instant-play Flash online casino offering six real-money slot machines and video poker games presented by Slotland.com. The new game is an easy one-payline three-button slot offering players the ability to take part instantly with no downloads required.
Online player ‘123jaki’ won $159,660 courtesy of WinADay.com, following in the footsteps of an Italian competitor known as ‘Monica68’ who won $148,724 playing the Wheeler Dealer slot title on January 23.
“Slot-O-Matic is so easy to play,” said ‘123jaki’.
“I have to admit, I was daydreaming a bit when suddenly I saw that six-figure number. I had to get my husband to look at it before I could really believe it. I still find it hard to believe.”
WinADay.com features animated casino staff in its games lobby in order to answer questions and direct players to their game with all six of its six machines tied to the same progressive jackpot.
“We’ve found that virtually every player tries this game at least once and most players take a few spins on it every time they come to the site,” said Ondrej Tuma from WinADay.com.
“I think it’s because it’s such an easy game to play. Beginners like it but even more experienced players that usually play the multi-payline games like to take a break once in awhile it seems.”
Only last week, Slotland.com, the popular online slots and video poker site that operates WinADay.com, wrote a cheque for a record-breaking $211,000 jackpot win on that site.
“Should we just keep the cheque book open,” asked Tuma.
“That’s the fun of it. We really don’t know how high it will go or when it will be hit again.”
