Swedish online gaming software developer Boss Media AB has announced that its International Poker Network (IPN) has just welcomed its three millionth player with current growth showing no sign of slowing.
The IPN is now Europe’s largest independent online poker network and has recently also recorded a 14 percent increase in active daily players alongside a 22 percent rise in maximum concurrent competitors. This was in addition to a 28 percent swell in daily registrations.
Last month, Boss signed a strategic alliance with Dublin-based software developer CryptoLogic Limited to add poker licensees including ExtremePoker.com, ClassicPoker.com, Opoker.com, DTDPoker.com, BetJacks.com, InterPoker.com and ParBet.com to the IPN. The Network already included such leading brands as CelebPoker.com, PokerHeaven.com, BetClick.com and ParadisePoker.com.
Together with St Minver, which manages player liquidity, tournaments, customer service and promotions for the system of poker, bingo and casino sites, Boss Media provides a fully-managed poker solution.
“This is a major milestone for the IPN,” said Atul Bali, President for Boss’ parent firm, New Media And Sports Betting Company.
“We are building on the strength of each company in the new media group and this is just the first of many achievements to come.”
New Media And Sports Betting Company is owned by American giant GTech Corporation and also controls Finsoft, St Minver and Dynamite Idea. The division focuses on providing ‘white-label’ services and technology to customers operating interactive poker, casino, bingo and skill games alongside those offering lottery, sportsbetting and regulated multi-jurisdictional amusements. It is also set to offer new professional services such as risk and player relationship management in addition to fraud prevention, responsible gaming and community functions.
